This Privacy Policy describes how PowerClaw ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our mobile application ("PowerClaw" or the "App"). By using PowerClaw, you agree to the practices described below.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information You Provide
- Account information: email address, name, password (stored hashed via bcrypt and Firebase Authentication).
- Profile information: age, height, weight, gender, training goals, experience level, available equipment, weekly schedule, injury history.
- Training data: workout sessions, sets, reps, weights, RPE, notes, plan progress.
- Coach chat messages: conversations you have with our AI coach.
1.2 Information Collected Automatically
- Device identifiers: device model, operating system version, unique device ID for analytics.
- Usage data: screen views, button clicks, feature engagement.
- Crash and performance data: via Firebase Crashlytics and similar services.
2. How We Use Your Data
- Provide the core App functionality (generate AI plans, track workouts, AI coach conversations).
- Personalize your training program based on your profile and progress.
- Improve the App, fix bugs, and develop new features.
- Communicate with you about your account, security, and important service updates.
- Process subscription purchases through the Apple App Store.
We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your data for third-party advertising or cross-app tracking.
3. Third-Party Services
PowerClaw uses the following third-party services to deliver the App:
- Firebase Authentication (Google) — secure sign-in and account management.
- Apple StoreKit / App Store Server — subscription purchases and receipt verification.
- Google Analytics for Firebase — usage analytics (no advertising IDs collected).
- Anthropic Claude / OpenAI / Google Gemini — AI plan generation and AI coach. Your training summaries and chat messages may be sent to these LLM providers to generate responses. They do not retain your personal identifiers and do not train models on your inputs.
- Resend — transactional email delivery (verification emails, password reset).
- Google Cloud Run / Cloud SQL — application hosting and database.
4. Data Retention
Account data and training history are retained while your account is active. When you delete your account, your personal information is soft-deleted within 24 hours and permanently purged within 90 days. You can request immediate deletion at any time by contacting support@powerclaw.app.
5. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete data via the in-App profile settings.
- Delete your account and associated data via Settings or by emailing support.
- Export your data in a machine-readable format upon request.
- Withdraw consent for non-essential data processing at any time.
6. Children
PowerClaw is not directed at children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13. If you believe we have collected data from a child, please contact us and we will delete it.
7. Security
We protect your data with industry-standard measures including TLS 1.2+ encryption in transit, encrypted at rest in Google Cloud SQL, hashed passwords (bcrypt), and Apple Keychain / Android Keystore for tokens on device.
8. International Transfers
PowerClaw operates from the United States. By using the App, you consent to transferring your data to the U.S., which may have different data protection laws than your country.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-App notification. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
